Training and Awareness Workshops
Shristi organized an Awareness Campaign at New Delhi on the use of Solar Energy under the theme climate change as a part of the National Environment Awareness Campaign 2008-09 by the Ministry of Environment & Forests, Government of India.
Awareness cum Training Workshops/Seminars for artisans in terracotta and ceramics crafts in New Delhi and Kolkata was conducted at the Handicrafts Bhawan, New Delhi from the 28th March to 1st April, 2005 and was well attended by terracotta artisans from all over India, representatives of Marketing and Design centres and Officials of DC (H). It was attended by the Secretary (Handicrafts) and Development Commissioner (Handicrafts). The five day seminar covered various aspects of Raw Materials, Technology, CFC concept and financial implications of the same.
Over the past decade, we have organised various workshops pertaining to the field of handicrafts both with inhouse expertise and inviting experts from outside for the same.
